Arriving in Germany
The venue is located in the south of Germany in the Bavarian Alps in the state of Bavaria. There are direct international flights from most of the countries to Munich International Airport (MUC), see https://www.munich-airport.com/. Some airlines offer stopover via Frankfurt Airport or via airports in Switzerland, Austria or France.
The venue itself is in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a small town close to the border to Austria in the south of Germany and about 130 km away from Munich Airport.
Arriving in Garmisch-Partenkirchen
You can use a regular train from the Deutsche Bahn (train to Munic central station and then with direct connection to train station Gramisch-Partnekirchen). It is a ride of about 1.5 hours.

Issue note:
We also noticed that the starting page always shows most current rates and not those for the event. So please select a hotel, a room, and your travel times and compare rates with these specific settings.
Additional tourist spa fee/tax:
Please be aware of the additional tourist tax, which is added to the final rate after selecting your hotel room and travel times. Since participation in a workshop entitles you to an exemption from the tourist tax or spa fee, we kindly ask you to submit the corresponding application (here) by email to the Tourist Information Office in good time (see details in the form). The confirmation received afterwards must be presented at check-in at the hotel.

Clima in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and on the Zugspitze Mounten in April
The workshop will be directly after the Easter holidays in Bavaria. It is the spring time in the Alps and usually we have about 12° during day and 3° during night. It can also be rainy in April.
It is totally different on the Zugspitze mountain. It is the end of ski season and temperatures in the snow fields vary between -10° and -5° with partially high winds. Therefore, you should be prepared for these temperatures if you join the tours to the top of the mountain.
Payment restrictions
The payment can only be done via ePayment Bayern using credit cards or bank transfer. You will receive a separate email with the invoice and all necessary information (like identity numbers for the payment: BKZ/PK-Nr). Please wait with your payment until you receive this email. Otherwise we cannot allocate your payment to the workshop.
We also have to follow a strict withdrawal policy, because of the special location and the running costs. After February 20th, 2026, we will no longer be able to offer refunds if you cancel your registration.
